Ava joins Meridian Bikebug in 2026 after three solid seasons in Europe. The 2025 New Zealand U23 Crit Champion has made solid steps forward in her development. In 2024 Ava finished 9th in GC at Vermarc Cycling Project Race, one of the few U19 stage races in Europe.
In 2025 Ava raced the season in Belgum with Black Magic Women, where she worked hard for team leader Alli Anderson delivering the first tour jersey for the New Zealand outfit. A standout performance at Tour de Feminin (UCI 2.2) saw Ava finish 18th on the hilly 110km 3rd Stage.
Ava looks to progress her U23 experience with Meridian Bikebug where she is signed for 2026 and 2027.
