The Q Tour was a stand out weekend for the finely tuned Meridian Blue p/b 99 Bikes team. Starting with a thrilling Stage 1 under lights with a powerful team working the front of the bunch finishing with Lauren and Keely inside the top 5.
Lauren pulled out a terrific ITT on Saturday morning over the lumpy 8.8km course to take the GC, with stellar efforts from the whole team leaving four riders inside the GC top 10.
The afternoon circuit race produced more quality from MBC ultimately just missing the spoils on the final sprint after a brilliant lead out of 5 riders ahead of Lauren.
The final, Queen Stage, came down to a wall of a climb where the team set up Lauren and Alyssa with everything. Lauren managed to hold on to the standout series performers and clinch 3rd on GC. Eventually only bettered by some very impressive Aussie women who we expect to see in the Women’s European pro-peloton next year!
The weekend was the best yet with a fully supportive team doing everything right, but beaten on the day by better talent. This team has done amazing things during 2025, and we’re happy to have made our mark on PSL25. We’re already looking forward to 2026!
