In Round 1 of the 2026 ProVelo Super League (SA Kick It) in Adelaide, the team delivered a standout performance, led by Alyssa Polites, who secured second place in the overall General Classification. 

Key Performance Highlights

  • Stage 1 (Time Trial): Alyssa Polites claimed an emphatic victory in the 6km individual time trial at Victoria Park. She was the only rider to break the eight-minute mark, finishing in 7:59 to take the first leader’s jersey of the series.
  • Stage 2 (Criterium): A near perfectly executed team performance delivered intermediate sprint points to Alyssa, and strong control of the race in the last few laps. Teh l;ead-out train, in order was Hannah, Ava, Kirsty and Amelie with Mia sitting as sweeper behind the yellow jersey. Alyssa made it out of the last corner with a bike length lead and only really challenged by the fast finishing Keira Will. Alyssa narrowly missed a second consecutive win after she posted up early, lsing by teh width of a tyre on teh finish line.
  • Stage 3 (Road Race): The team remained highly competitive at The Bend Motorsport Park. Challenged by a well drilled Butterfields team, the MBB riders protected Alyssa into the final. They put up a big team chase to cloase a 48-second gap to a breakaway that two Butterfields riders inside the top 5 contributing to. ALl back together for the last 7km lap, and after Alyssa was boxed in in teh final 200m, Amlie secured a second-place podium finish in a high-speed bunch sprint, while Polites finished 5th to defend her podium position in the overall standings.
  • Overall Standings: Alyssa finished 2nd overall, trailing winner Odette Lynch by only fractions of a second after bonus seconds from the final stage shifted the lead.

The team’s performance established them as a dominant force heading into the remainder of the 2026 season, particularly in sprint and time-trial disciplines.
